Ingredients:
Pigeon Peas Spilt (Tur Dal) boiled: 1 cup
Water: 1 Cup
Potatoes boiled: 2
Green Peas boiled: Half cup
Onions: 2
Tomatoes: 2
Lemon Juice: As required
Step1: Grind boiled Pigeon Peas. Put it in a vessel with some water and turn on the gas.
Step 2: Bring the mixture to boil and add all masalas.
Step 4: Crush 5-6 Golgappa puri's in a serving plate.
Step 5: Put required quantity of prepared masala on crushed puri's.
Step 6: Add required quantity of Green Chutney, chopped Onions, chopped Tomatoes and a pinch of salt.
Step 7: Add some lemon juice and sprinkle some sev. Your mouth watering Masala Puri is ready. You can add some fresh coriander leaves and a spoon full of curd while serving.
P. S. If you like this chat sweet, you can add some Sweet Chutney while serving.
Green Chutney:
Ingredients:
Coriander Leaves: 1 cup
Mint Leaves: Half cup
Green Chillies: 5-6 (You can use more chillies if you like it spicy)
Garlic: 4-5 cloves
Salt: To taste
Tamarind: Little (optional)
Method:
Grind all the ingredients, till it comes to the consistency of chutney. Add little water if require.
Tamarind / Sweet Chutney:
Ingredients:
Soaked Tamarind: 100 grams
Soaked Jaggery: 75 grams
Soaked Dates: 7-8
Method:
Squeeze out tamarind juice or you can use tamarind paste available in market, strain out squeezed tamarind and soaked jaggery into a bowl. Grind soaked dates and put the mixture in the bowl containing jaggery and tamarind mixture.
Mix it well and bring the mixture to boil.
You can make this chutney thin or thick as per your taste.
