Why is Banana Plant called as a Plant not as a Tree?

Banana Plant is a distant relative of Ginger. This plant does not contain true woody tissues, because of which it never forms a woody stem the way a tree does. They do not have Trunk, so they are not trees. Banana Plants are not seasonal. Banana plants are generally short-life perennial plants. Bananas are an excellent source of nutrients: Calcium, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C, fiber, electrolytes and more fuel the body with natural energy and protection. The leaf of the banana plant is used as plates to serve food and they are used for cooking as well in some regions.

Tortoise vs Turtle

All Tortoises are Turtles but not vice versa, means we can not call Turtles as Tortoises. They are Reptiles. Tortoises mainly live on land, they occasionally visit water for bathing and drinking, whereas Turtles visit land occasionally for laying eggs they spend most of their time in the water.

Tortoises are herbivores, they mainly feed on leaves. Turtles are omnivorous, they eat plants as well as animals. Tortoises mostly have a large dome-shaped shell whereas Turtles mostly have flat, streamlined shells.

Tortoises feet are short and sturdy with bent legs which helps them to move freely on land. Turtles have webbed feet with long claws which help them to swim in water.

Frog vs Toad

You know about Frog, which is an amphibian (which can live both on land and water) so as Toad. Toad is a look-alike of Frog. They belong to the same family.

Toads are characterized by dry, leathery skin, short legs, and large bumps covering the parotoid glands. Although Toad is an amphibian it lives mostly on land. We can commonly see them in gardens and yards. Toads lay their eggs in water, toad eggs are more in a chain.

Frogs usually have moist skin. An adult frog has a stout body, protruding eyes, cleft tongue, limbs folded underneath, and no tail. Frog's habitat is in and near ponds. Frogs usually lay their eggs in water and they will be in mass.
